The 2011 Comedy Improv Throw Down - August 19th through the 21st!
The 2011 Comedy Improv Throw Down Was a huge success! Last Year proved we were on to something with over 16 teams competing from all up and down the East Coast. Our returning champions, SHAWNMIKAEL(s) returned to defend their title and won again!!!! here is some more information about the throw down and this years teams!
WORKSHOPS
The 2011 Improv Throw Down featured 8 Incredible workshops for everyone to take advantage of, taught by some of the best improviors working today. They were as Follows:

2011 Judges
ANDY MOSKOWITZ
1. Andy is a member of PHIT House Team Fletcher. In addition he performs as part of improv duo Jessica Tandy with his partner Jessica Ross and the improvised telanovela Pasiones de Pasiones (Troika 2010 WINNER!). He is also a member of ComedySportz Philadelphia and performs at least once a week with one of these teams.
Andy has studied improv at the PHIT, the Magnet Theater, the Annoyance Theater and around the country with the likes of Armando Diaz, Michael Gellman, Gary Austin, and Rachel Hamilton. He has workshopped with many more, including Jill Bernard, Susan Messing, Tara Copeland, Christian Cappazoli, Scott Adsit and Christina Gausis.He teaches level 101 at PHIT and has also coached PHIT workshops. Currently, Andy is directing an up and coming team, Nielsen, which was just offered a spot in the Fringe Activities at PHIT.
Andy is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, with a dual degree in Writing Seminar and Film Studies. When he's not improvising, Andy is a professional writer and can outsleep a depressed hobo.
